Whose desk it lands on
The executive responsible for customer experience. Are you measuring the time and effort customers spend on shopping, or are you only looking at delivery time?
Our view
The CX Brief's interpretation, not a claim made by the source.
Of those who prefer the online channel, 48% cite time savings and 44% cite promotions and better prices, so discounts alone do not explain the shift. The biggest obstacle to in-store shopping is also something beyond the store's control: hot weather (40%).
