Türkiye ranks 41st in the world on an index of countries building AI and human skills together
A new index from the learning platform Coursera measures the extent to which learners develop AI skills together with human skills; in Türkiye, enrollments in AI courses rose 29% year over year.

What's happening
As reported by Marketing Türkiye, Coursera's 2026 Global Skills Report ranks Türkiye 41st in the world and 23rd in Europe on its new AI-Human Skills Synergy Index. According to the report, enrollments in AI safety training in Türkiye rose 275%, and enrollments in complex problem-solving training rose 76% year over year.
Behind the number
The research was conducted by combining a subset of data from more than 300 million learners on Coursera and Udemy with national readiness data from Oxford Insights' Government AI Readiness Index.
Whose desk it lands on
The executive responsible for training and development. Does the team's AI training also cover human skills such as problem-solving?
Our view
The CX Brief's interpretation, not a claim made by the source.
The report's most instructive finding is not the ranking itself but where enrollments are flowing: enrollments in AI courses rose 29%, while those in complex problem-solving training rose 76%. Learners appear to be seeking AI skills alongside human skills, not in isolation. Reducing an in-house program to tool use alone means falling short of that demand.
